About Astrid
Hello! My name is Astrid Delestine, and I am an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at Oregon State University, set to graduate with my bachelor's degree at the end of winter quarter 2025 (March 26, 2025).
As a participant in the MECOP program, I had the opportunity to gain a full year of hands-on engineering experience working with Datalogic and Leviton. These experiences strengthened my technical expertise and prepared me for the challenges of the engineering field.
My passion for engineering has been a constant in my life. In high school, I was an active member of the FRC FIRST Robotics program for all four years, earning a varsity letter each year. I proudly served as vice president and team captain during my junior and senior years, where I honed my leadership and problem-solving skills.
Outside of engineering, I am an Eagle Scout and a lover of the outdoors. Whether it's exploring nature or diving into the latest tech project, I strive to embrace challenges and pursue growth in everything I do.
